Mia rises one morning with a case of dead leg only to discover the cause may be more sinister.

The thriller SEE FOR ME is flying under a lot of people’s radars and should not be missed. Skyler Davenport, a visually impaired, non-binary actor, stars as a blind former skier house sitting in a remote luxury cabin in this Canadian thriller. Davenport steals the show in one of the very few movies with an impaired actor starring in an impaired lead role. Director Randall Okita has made a film with exceptional spatial awareness, even when the camera is outside the cabin looking in, which adds to the tension once the home invaders have broken in. Add a dash of moral complexity, dipping its big toe in grey areas of entitlement and reasoning, and you’ve got a home invasion flick that rises above simply stopping the bad guys.

“Don’t go into this one with expectations as they will all be blown up in a film which will keep you guessing while watching from the edge of your seat.” Carey-Ann Pawsey, Orca Sound

“Okita, along with writers Adam Yorke and Tommy Gushue, not only look to shatter stereotypes about the disabled as they relate to their abilities, but also their perceived nobility.”

“Randall Okita’s film works on many levels but it’s the tense cat and mouse struggle at the heart of it which is the most pleasing.”
